300W DC-DC Buck Converter

The 300W DC-DC Buck Converter is a high-efficiency, synchronous rectifier step-down module designed for constant-current and constant-voltage applications. This non-isolated CC/CV charging module is ideal for high-power LED drivers, lithium battery charging (including LiFePO4), 4V/6V/12V/14V/24V battery packs, nickel-cadmium and NiMH batteries, as well as solar and wind generator systems.

Supporting an input voltage range of 6–40V DC, the converter provides a continuously adjustable output voltage from 1.2V to 35V DC (up to 32V for extended use), making it suitable for a wide variety of power management scenarios where the input voltage is higher than the required output. The output current is adjustable from .2A to 20A, with a recommended continuous operation below 15A for optimal performance. For high current or high voltage output, additional fan cooling is recommended if the power tube temperature exceeds 65°C.

The module features a minimum voltage difference of 3V, an operating frequency of 150kHz, and a maximum conversion efficiency of about 96%, depending on the voltage differential and environmental conditions. Output ripple is low, at approximately 50mV (20M bandwidth), ensuring clean and stable power for sensitive loads. The potentiometer allows precise adjustment of both voltage and current, making the module highly versatile for charging and power supply applications.

Safety features include instantaneous output short circuit protection (constant current mode), but there is no built-in input reverse connection or output anti-backflow protection—external diodes are recommended for these scenarios. The compact size (60 x 53 x 30mm) and terminal wiring make installation straightforward in a variety of setups.
