AE J1772 Female to Open Wire Charging Cable

The AE J1772 Female to Open Wire Charging Cable is a premium, high-performance solution designed for electric vehicle charging stations and custom installations. Engineered for reliability and safety, this Type 1 (SAE J1772) charging cable is available in multiple current ratings—16A, 32A, 40A, and 48A—supporting 110–240V single-phase charging for a wide range of electric vehicles.

This cable features a robust copper alloy connector with nickel bottom plating and a 3μm silver surface plating, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The shell is made from fire-retardant thermoplastic PC, available in white or black, with additional color customization options. The black TPE jacketed cable is abrasion-resistant and can be customized for color as needed.

With an IP55 protection rating, the AE J1772 Female to Open Wire Charging Cable is resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It meets the highest fire safety standards (94 V-) and is built to withstand mechanical stress, including a 1-meter drop or being run over by a 2-ton vehicle. The cable is rated for over 10,000 plug-in and pull-out cycles, ensuring long-term durability.

This charging cable is fully compliant with SAE J1772, FCC, RoHS, REACH, and ETL (UL2251) standards, with cable certifications UL62/2263. It offers superior electrical performance, including insulation resistance greater than 100MΩ (DC 500V), terminal temperature rise below 50K, and a maximum contact resistance of .5mΩ.
